The Right Attitude
Amidst a casual and cool-it attitude on one hand and fast pace development on the other, gen-X has been caught in the web of ambition and modernity. Celebrations and party loving youth do aspire for remarkable achievements and new horizons. In the battle of success and style today's child is deviating from the path of perpetual effort, practice and patience. Prevailing unfavourable, heartrending and mind boggling conditions -- high expectations from all around including one's own self, a few unsuccessful attempts, insecurity, chaos, threats for the existence -- multiply the confusion in the young minds. The loss of self esteem is the cost they pay with. Consequently their dreams seem to move far from being reality.
In such adverse circumstances our children need to enhance their awareness about their beliefs and the latent power lying dormant within them. They need to learn how to unleash their actual potential.
Keep all negativity at bay is the most vital ingredient in the process of rediscovering oneself. Children must remember that belief in their own `self' can work wonders. All of us are blessed with some potential. Identification of our true potential is the first and foremost step in developing high levels of inner confidence and self worth.
I firmly believe that our youngsters should not only just polish the skills and techniques to learn and study effectively but also sustain their faith in their inherent power. It will definitely lead them to perseverance.
An appeal to the parents:
Let's instil positivity in our young minds so that they emerge undeterred and unfazed in all adverse circumstances too. Let's steer our children to the path of discovering their self, making their voyage exuberant and enjoyable.
Instead of `What cannot be cured must be endured' we must remember `where there is a will there is a way'.
